Learn To Learn It (Genre: International Relations)

In our ego, we think that we are the doers of everything around us but in fact, it is nature that does it. So says the Gita. Man, the egoistic and arrogant entity he is, has been continuously harming the cause of mankind by ceaselessly waging wars of different types from times immemorial, which have actually been a futile exercise, to sum up in two words.

First, it used to be the battlefield and then soon the political, cultural, social, business, educational and religious types erupted. It is because each race thinks it is superior to others and hence has the right to dominate others. There is the greed of riches that is coupled with a never-ending ambition within each race of the war-mongers that fuels the cause of waging a war and moreover justifying it to achieve peace.

In today's context, three power blocks exist most distinctively because of the danger they pose to mankind. They are the US-UK nexus because they together want to dominate the world as also, the Islamic family and the Chinese state. The first is doing cultural imperialism of smaller states having looted their wealth during the colonial times and then after the World War 2.

Islam, being ironically opposite to its Arabic meaning, "Peace," and being at war with itself since its inception will never let any non-Islamic entity live in peace. On the other hand, the Chinese have a renewed confidence in themselves and are shrewdly taking the advantage of their strategic position in a world that is seeing a gradual shift of power to Asia.

However, none of these threatening forces will have a final hold as we all need to learn to learn it, that change is the only constant. The world will see a number of today's smaller states come up in a big way other than these power-blocks. In about a hundred years from now, the world would be multipolar, multilingual and more than just English and French or Christian and Islamic and less racist and fanatic as people will drive it towards more and increased economic independence and a tolerant globe.

There are going to be winners as there are going to be losers as always. People and countries who emerge as friendly and business-like are going to yield much success and will be the torch bearers. The culture of each race is rich and hence each country that harnesses the culture properly in today's time is going to justify itself better and build a better society. Preparing for tomorrow, today is key to the future.

A truly learned state is going to be one which does not lean towards its ideological religion or political mind too much but is in fact able to have a global outlook while maintaining itself clean in all domestic and international affairs while having a progressive outlook, the future is within reach provided you have the vision to see it and read the writing on wall!

The lesson to learn is to be tolerant and cooperative. For in togetherness lies the times of tomorrow. It is to be borne in mind that it is not the races, it is "Time."
